Lovely relaxed and bright hotel, I liked amazing breakfast!
Everything was simply really good. The breakfast for a Cappucino. Decent staff at the reception desk and the location was excellent and absolutely perfect in the nearby market. Moreover, it was not far from reception and leisure centre.

This hotel is great, and has amenities like free parking, an indoor pool, and a bar/lounge. On my first stay, the staff kindly assisted my elderly parents. Highly recommend visiting for a nice Christmas stay!

As a solo traveller I was delighted to have a large room with a double bed and plenty of space. Furnishing was nice and bright, and everything that was needed was supplied in the room. Breakfast was lovely, buffet with a good variety, good staff and lovely dining room. Good entertainment in the bar at night. I would love to stay there again and would recommend it.
A concern------the hot water is extremely hot, could burn you.

When we arrived at the hotel and give our ref number we were then told that it was wrong and that there was no Booking in my or my familys name, this is the secoand time this has happened with this hotel as I meet some other people whom it happened to 2 years ago, we did how ever get a room as they had some to spare. Very disapointed with the staff and the way they treat you. Would rever stay with them again and also would like a refund for the deposit that was taken. Thanks you myles

Staff were very friendly and welcoming but unobtrusive. The hotel was easy to get to and within walking distance of the town. There were beautiful beaches with lifeguards on duty a few minutes drive away. The leisure centre was very well equipped and the pool was lovely also the staff in the leisure centre were very helpful and friendly. There was music in the bar each night

A warm welcome for families
The staff treated us like family, especially Silvana at reception who made our check-in effortless and warm. We loved the spacious family room, perfect for the kids!
One unpleasant moment occurred during dinner when we were asked to keep our kids quiet despite the lively atmosphere. It felt a bit out of place in a family hotel, which dampened the experience.

great stay with a few hiccups
The staff were cute and always eager to assist with a warm atmosphere. Our room was comfortable, and the choices for dining were diverse. The indoor pool was well-maintained. We particularly enjoyed the landscaped grounds surrounding the hotel, perfect for evening strolls.
The room amenities upon arrival were lacking.

Very friendly staff. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and well presented. Comfortable bed. The hotel is convenient to the town centre of Gorey (8 minute walk to the main shopping street) and a short drive to the countryside and sea. There is easy access to the nearby motorway to Dublin/Wexford but far enough away not to hear any motorway traffic.
The main bar was rather uninteresting and is in contrast to the decor and design of the rest of the hotel. The second much smaller bar, only open in the evening, is more attractive. The lighting in the bedroom was rather dim. Presumably, this is as a result of an environmental drive for energy saving.

Friendly staff. Lovely dining room and food for breakfast. Had a lovely meal in the Ivy Bar in the evening.
The phone beside the bed has so many lights on it. It is like a christmas tree and is annoying at night.

The greeting at reception on arrival is always very welcoming. I find the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very good, particularly in the restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and provide what is needed. The leisure centre is an added bonus. I have always enjoyed my stay in the hotel and I have recommended it to everybody I know.
